GFL, or Green For Life (formerly Waste Industries) collects residential trash through the pick-up of a 95-gallon roll-out cart and recycling services with an 18-gallon recycling bin.
The day of the trash / recycling service pick-up varies, depending on where you reside in the county. Trash and recycling are picked-up on the same day. If you have questions about the day of your service, call Waste Industries at 252-792-0576.
The only days GFL does not operate are Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If your service falls on one of these days, your service will be rescheduled, and notice of the change in service for these holidays will be advertised in the local newspaper.
New residents can make arrangements for a cart delivery / inquiries about billing by calling the Martin County Tax Assessor’s Office at 252-789-4350.
