The County Manager is charged with handling the day-to-day operations of County Government and ensures the Board of Commissioners' goals and objectives are met. His duties include preparing the recommended budget for all County departments and offices, recommending new and revised policies and programs to the Board of Commissioners, and implementing County programs and services in an efficient and effective manner.
The Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners is the primary administrative assistant to the Board and County Manager. The Clerk prepares and promulgates meeting agendas, maintains the County's official files and coordinates the Commissioners' schedules.
