As permitted by NC GS and the Martin County Board of Commissioners, the Authority shall promote travel, tourism, and conventions in the county, sponsor tourist-related events and activities in the county, and finance tourism-related capital projects in the county.
Term of Office
Thirteen members, each appointed by the Martin County Commissioners for 3-year terms; one Commissioner appointed for a 1-year term (Finance Officer position is ongoing).
